Late-night shows are a staple of American television. Stay up watching ABC, CBS, NBC, or Comedy Central, and you will be graced with the presence of a supposed comedian the media wants you to think is funny. These late-night hosts, from Jimmy Kimmel to Stephen Colbert, are not actually that funny. They are not even meant to be funny. They are meant to be a form of thought control.
Their shows have a predictable formula. They will bring up some news story, often about Donald Trump or some other high-profile conservative. They will give a brief and biased account, repeat the party line in a jokey voice, and then everyone will laugh. This is an extremely effective form of propagandizing the population. The viewer is sucked in by the allure of credibility and social acceptance.
A recent report from the Media Research Center showed that, in the last 9 months, 94% of political guests on late-night shows have been liberals. The report states: “The end of the [writers’] strike coincided with the start of the 2024 presidential election campaign and MRC analysts found that in the nine months from October 2, 2023, to June 27, 2024, liberal guests outnumbered conservative guests by a count of 137 to 8.”
Even still, the right-leaning guests they bring on are not exactly representative of real conservative thought. From Nikki Haley to former Representative Liz Cheney, the late-night hosts are only bringing in Republican guests to create a thin illusion of dialogue. In reality, they are only trying to reinforce the liberal framing and further brainwash their viewers.
These are not comedians. These are party propagandists. They’re paid the big bucks to parrot the talking points of the regime. If you see one of them come on your TV late at night, I recommend you hit the off-button.
