It’s June 28, 1775. I’m in Boston, Massachusetts, with Elizabeth Adams, the wife of Samuel Adams.
JG: “Mrs. Adams, your good friend, Joseph Warren, has been killed at the Battle of Bunker Hill, and there’s a warrant out for the death of your husband,”
EA: “Mr. Gillespie, I’m very concerned for my husband and my country’s well being. The British are showing no mercy and are determined to crush our war for freedom. But, we will trust that the hand of heaven will guide our path to victory.”
Victory was achieved, as this Republic under God still shines it’s light around the world.
