Hundreds of area residents took to the streets of Milwaukee to participate in Life Chain 2019, an annual gathering to draw awareness to the fact that Abortion Kills Children, but Jesus Forgives and Heals. Other signs read “Adoption – the Loving Option,” “Lord, Forgive Us and Our Nation,” “Abortion Hurts Women,” “Life – the first Inalienable Right,” “Pray to End Abortion,” and “Pregnant? Need Help? 1-800-712-HELP”.
From Goerkes Corners on Bluemound Road to Highway 100, and from Forest Home Avenue to Mayfair Mall on Highway 100, hundreds lined up along the sidewalks sharing their message from 2 PM to 3:30 PM.
Life Chain is in its 39th year, and the signs are now available in Spanish, proclaiming: “El Aborto Mata Ninos,” and “El aborto lastima a las Mujeres.” According to the latest statistics, 5,640 unborn children were killed by abortion in Wisconsin in 2017.
