An article published by USA Facts Team showed how dramatically the number of multiple births has dropped. Their team found from nineteen ninety-eight to twenty twenty-three the number of triplets and higher dropped a staggering sixty-two percent. The article cites that during in vitro fertilization procedures, doctors placed fewer embryos inside the woman’s womb. That of course accounts for some of the decline but not all. Doctors routinely suggest selective reduction to parents who are expecting three or more babies. This means aborting down to twins or a singleton. When I inquired with the authors of the article if abortion had any impact in the findings I received no response. My question is if abortion’s such a good in society, why do they avoid mentioning it?
