Helping Drug Addicted Mothers

An increasing number of maternity homes are helping pregnant women who struggle with addiction.  The number of struggling women have increased dramatically, necessitating steps to help them.  In part because most rehabs have ended serving them.  Some homes create short term “emergency rooms”, others bring therapists to the home.  Random drug testing is more common with graduated steps to respond to multiple positive test results.  The drugs have become stronger and more dangerous and women struggle most after giving birth.  Others offer Medicated Assisted Therapy so mothers don’t stop cold turkey and increase the risk of a late-term miscarriage.  The abortion industry doesn’t offer these lifelines.  It’s pro-lifers who genuinely care about women and their babies.
