After the fall of Roe v Wade, fewer babies are being killed by abortion, but there’s another benefit. Fewer people are having extramarital sex. Match Group which operates various matchmaking platforms, released its annual survey of over five thousand single Americans. For the second year the Dobbs decision has impacted dating and intimacy decisions with a whopping eighty-seven percent saying it affects them. For years we’ve said that many people use abortion as a means of birth control. This survey confirms a significant number of Americans have used abortion as a backup plan to rid them of unwanted pregnancies. Twenty-one percent of gen Z’ers fear a pregnancy. The answer is easy. Be intentional about dating with a spouse in mind and keep sex within marriage.
