Morgan’s Wonderland

While on vacation, Gordon Hartman a builder  watched as his daughter with special needs was excluded from playing with other children.  It broke his heart, so he built the world’s only theme park for people with special needs.  Morgan’s Wonderland is named after his daughter, who is nonverbal.  This is the coolest place!  Everything is wheelchair accessible.  For guests with sensory issues, they muffle the sound of rides and make sure lighting isn’t too intense.  I can’t imagine life without ever enjoying a rollercoaster, and at Morgan’s Wonderland you can.  A battery-operated wheelchair is no problem with water fun.  They have nomadic ones that work underwater.  Hartman stresses the park isn’t just for those with special needs.  It’s for everyone. And next time I’m in San Antonio, I plan to go.
