World War I ended on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of the year 1918. It was known as Armistice Day but later changed to Veterans Day in 1954 to honor all who served defending the United States.
Callers from around the nation were featured as they honored veterans for the many sacrifices they made. Also highlighting the broadcast was audio from a speech by President Ronald Reagan, as he spoke at Arlington National Cemetery on November 11th, 1985.
