Israeli forces are preparing for a ground assault upon Gaza. Earlier today Hamas launched drones to infiltrate Israeli airspace and attack Israeli targets. CBN News has reported that action by Hezbollah on Israel’s northern border reflects preparations for an invasion. The U.S. military has assets on the scene and now China is warning the U.S. about involvement. Pro-Hamas and pro-Palestinian anti-Israel rallies and demonstrations are taking place around the U.S. and the world.
Addressing many of these points was Dr. Jimmy DeYoung Jr. He’s a speaker, teacher, Mideast guide, videographer and speaker on Prophecy Today. He lived and worked in Jerusalem for many years, is a fully credentialed journalist and has led numerous tours to Israel.
Since he last appeared on Crosstalk about two weeks ago, Dr. DeYoung indicated we’ve seen 5,400 people wounded, 1,400 people murdered and there are 222 captives still in Gaza. Verification has come out showing the instructions and drugs the terrorists were given to carry out these despicable acts with no regard whatsoever, for life.
As previously noted, Hezbollah is currently on the northern border. Hamas is on the Gaza strip and they’re still firing rockets into Israel. Other nations are being pulled into this but so far, Egypt and Jordan are staying out of the battle.
The generals say they’re ready, so now it’s up to the politicians to give the military the “go-ahead.” Complicating matters is a fact brought up by Dr. DeYoung that the government is only backed by 28% of the people of Israel. That means they’re losing confidence in the government. It puts Prime Minister Netanyahu under tremendous pressure, not only from his own people to exact revenge on Hamas, but from others around the world who are calling for peace.
One critical aspect for the Israeli IDF involves the Hamas tunnels. These are quick access/escape routes for terrorists.
