Barbara Loe Fisher is president of the National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC), a non-profit charity she co-founded with parents of DPT vaccine injured children in 1982. NVIC is a national, grassroots movement and public information campaign to institute vaccine safety reforms and informed consent protections in the public health system. She has researched, analyzed and publicly articulated the major issues involving the science, policy, law, ethics and politics of vaccination to become one of the world’s leading non-medical, consumer advocacy experts on the subject.
As of July 21st, 2023, nearly 1.6 million adverse reactions to the COVID shots have been reported to the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS). That includes over 35,600 deaths, over 20,400 heart attacks, over 67,000 left permanently disabled and over 206,000 hospitalizations.
While these numbers were increasing, NVIC was immediately censored in 2021 after holding their 5th International Public Conference of Vaccination online. They were vilified and characterized as terrorists and people who were trying to cause injury and death to those who would listen to what they say.
The result is that they were taken off all four social media platforms. In addition, Democrats in the House of Representatives wrote a letter to PayPal in December of 2021 telling them to cut off the ability of NVIC to receive donations. PayPal did just that.
Apparently it doesn’t matter who you are or what your credentials are. If you don’t conform to the government and World Health Organization narrative concerning the COVID-19 vaccines and SARS CoV-2, you make yourself a target for censorship. Why is this occurring when NVIC, and other organizations, simply believe in the informed consent ethic?
However, that’s not all. In review, she also noted how the shots were fast-tracked to the public in a way never seen before and for a vaccine technology that’s never been used. She described it as, “…an experimental vaccine that had not been fully licensed by the FDA when it was released for public use in December of 2020.”
Barbara also noted the FDA guidelines that the vaccine companies were supposed to follow. When the vaccines were issued under the emergency use authorization, the companies only had to demonstrate 50% efficacy in terms of preventing serious symptoms from COVID-19. They didn’t have to demonstrate prevention of infection and transmission. When the vaccine came out, the messaging coming from the media, the government and prominent doctors was that if you received the shot, you weren’t going to be infected with COVID-19, nor would you transmit it.
Unfortunately this was not the case. So when cases of inflammation of the heart and brain, Guillain-Barre syndrome, Bells palsy and other adverse reactions to the vaccines began, such incidents were minimized and covered up and people were told they’re conspiracy theorists or they were jeopardizing the public health simply by talking about what happened to them.
What are we to make of this relationship between symptoms and censorship? That’s a core question as this broadcast looks at the new awakening of skepticism and distrust that’s been increasing as the COVID shots continue to make news.
