Last fall, a video went viral that was from a prestigious university.  In the video, students felt socialism was a good thing.  They would abolish private property rights, although some indicated that they didn’t want their own private property rights taken away.

This is just one example of how a brainwashing, deconstruction and battle is taking place for the minds of students.

Returning to Crosstalk to outline this trend was William Federer.  William is a nationally known speaker, historian, author, and president of Amerisearch, Inc. He’s the speaker on The American Minute daily broadcast.  He has authored numerous books including, America’s God and Country Encyclopedia of Quotations, Who is the King in America?, and Socialism: The Real History From Plato to the Present.  It has the subtitle, How the Deep State Capitalizes on Crises to Consolidate Control.

As William noted right from the start, this attempt at controlling the minds of young people is hardly new.  Hitler, Stalin and Lenin all made their attempts.  Even Plato (380BC) noted how democracy was doomed to fail because it was based upon the idea of people having virtue.  So if you give them the choice of either giving up their life or giving up their virtue, they’ll give up the latter to save the former.

Plato believed that eventually democracy would crater and people will want someone to come along and fix things.  Some governor comes along claiming he can fix everything, he just needs some emergency powers.

But how did Plato believe such an individual could stay in power?  He’d do so by taking children so they will be unaffected by the habits of their parents.  He intended to indoctrinate them with “noble lies” along with one single grand lie that will be believed by everyone.

So here you have the first historic example of how a tyrant believed was the way for him to stay in power.

As time went on, William pointed to historic figures such as Antonio Gramsci, who believed you had to move through the institutions and rot the West from within.  Part of that plan involved using socialism as a religion to eradicate Christianity.

William basically described socialism as “counterfeit Christianity.”  The difference is between the words “voluntary” and involuntary.”  The early believers voluntarily sold their property and laid it at the feet of the church to have the church redistribute it.  They didn’t have the government take their property and lay it at the feet of Pontius Pilate to have the Roman government redistribute it.

So when the church helps people it’s called “disinterested benevolence.”  You’re helping people for no reason other than the fact that you want them to get better and you’re doing it as unto the Lord.  When the government helps people it’s always in exchange for control over their life.

William goes on to describe how young students are cleverly having their loyalty to their teachers and friends manipulated in order to indoctrinate them to believe certain lies.  As such, they are being groomed to accept ideas that fly in the face of biblical principles.

Review this broadcast and learn why children are the “stem cells” of our society,

how to recognize the sales technique of deconstructionism, how the rule of tacit admission (silence is consent) is hurting the church, and much more.
