Here’s a sample from the slate of stories making headlines this week:
–Former President Donald Trump denounced the federal case against him as the most evil and heinous abuse of power in the history of our country.
–On Thursday June 8, two massive political stories broke but only one was covered by the broadcast networks. On June 8th, former President Donald Trump was indicted by the Special Counsel in the classified documents case. That same day, it was reported that President Joe Biden had allegedly received 5 million dollars from an executive of the Ukrainian gas company known as Burisma, the same company in which his son Hunter was involved with. Over 4 days, June 8th through the 12th, CBS, NBC and ABC gave 291 minutes of coverage to the Trump indictment. How much coverage did the alleged Burisma bribery scheme get? Zero seconds.
–President Joe Biden was referred to as the “big guy” by the Ukrainian oligarch who owned the Hunter Biden-employing energy giant Burisma, sources say an FBI record reveals.
–The House Oversight Committee has subpoenaed bank records detailing Hunter Biden’s relationship with the Russian oligarch from a decade ago.
–Two articles of impeachment were filed on Monday against President Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for weaponization of the government against Americans, invasion of foreign nationals and criminals in unprecedented numbers on the northern and southern borders, slow-walking of any investigation into the Biden family’s corruption and giving America’s enemies aid and comfort (while enriching themselves in the process).
–A powerful, left-wing lobbying group has announced a 10 million dollar campaign to boost the image of beleaguered Vice President Kamala Harris.
–20 Republicans rode to the rescue of Democratic Representative Adam Schiff of California, sending off into limbo a resolution that called for Schiff to be censured and fired.
–White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has been ever-so-gently reprimanded for politicking from the podium, as the Office of Special Counsel ruled that her attack on the MAGA wing of the Republican party violated the Hatch Act, according to NBC News.
–George Soros has handed control of his 25 billion dollar empire to a younger son, Alexander Soros, who plans to continue to use his family’s deep pockets to back radical-left U.S. politicians and causes.
–China has been operating a spy base in Cuba since at least 2019.
–The U.S. government has been hit in a global hacking campaign that exploited a vulnerability in widely used software but it’s not expected to have significant impact.
–The U.N. cultural and scientific agency UNESCO announced Monday that the U.S. plans to rejoin and pay more than 600 million dollars in back dues after a decades-long dispute sparked by the organization’s move to include Palestine as a member.
–World Economic Forum Senior Advisor Yuval Noah Harari, a Jewish homosexual atheist, made the stunning claim that in the not too distant future, artificial intelligence may create a correct world religion with an artificial intelligence bible. Jim provided audio from Mr. Harari.
