The push for global governance is coming from many different sectors. One of them is the World Health Organization (WHO). Just hours before broadcast time, the 76th World Health Assembly of the WHO wrapped up their assembly in Geneva, Switzerland. On the docket was a global pandemic treaty.
With a report on what took place at the assembly was Mat Staver. Mat is the founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel. Mat is a constitutional attorney with three landmark cases before the U.S. Supreme Court. He’s an author and the host of the radio broadcasts Faith & Freedom and Freedom’s Call.
Mat described how the WHO discussed over 300 amendments to what’s known as the International Health Regulation and a new pandemic treaty and there was no apparent opposition. He indicated they’re now looking to see if there are any possible “loopholes” that might allow nations to “wiggle out” of any of the provisions.
The final vote is scheduled for May of 2024. If a majority of nations (51%) agree to this, the WHO would move from being an advisory organization to a globally binding organization.
Any nation that might be resistant in some way to the WHO taking over their sovereignty are being told that wealthy nations like the U.S. will pay for high quality medical clinics for other nations around the world.
