This edition of Crosstalk began with 2 news updates. The first update concerned the charging of a Wisconsin man in the 2022 Mother’s Day fire-bombing of the office of Wisconsin Family Action in Madison, Wisconsin. The second update dealt with the shooting this past Monday at The Covenant School, a private Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee, where 3 children and 3 adults were killed.
Bruce DeLange is a representative with Fellowship Tract League whose goal is to make the Great Commission, a daily commitment. Bruce is a former pastor and evangelist.
Fellowship Tract League has been around since 1978. It began when Pastor Wash Pennington went to a camp meeting in Myrtle, Mississippi, and came back “fired up” about printing gospel tracts. He presented the idea to the church and he received 100% support.
It took about 6-8 years to produce 100 million tracts but now they average over 100 million each year. The total printed to date stands at about 5.2 billion. Tracts are printed in many languages (between 85 and 90). They receive about 600 orders per week and they’re shipped throughout America and around the world. All tracts are free as the Lord provides.
This edition of Crosstalk looks at how effective tracts are, the excuses as to why some people won’t pass out tracts, and how you can begin to reach others for Christ through tracts available in a free sample pack!
