Overnight Russian President Vladimir Putin launched an attack against Ukraine. Cities and bases were hit with airstrikes and shelling. Civilians are fleeing in droves and the death toll is mounting.
Russia has been condemned by nations around the world as Vladimir Putin has threatened “consequences you have never seen” to any country that tries to intervene.
Just a short time ago, President Biden announced sanctions against Russia. Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo stated that this attack is the latest sign that the Russian President’s desire is to “bring back the Soviet Union.”
