Here’s a quick look at some of the stories that made the cut for this week’s edition of the News Round-Up:
–Dr. Jane Orient from the American Association of Physicians and Surgeons warns that in addition to being subjected to various forms of censorship, for the first time in living memory, American doctors are getting threat letters from licensure boards warning them against disturbing, harmful “misinformation”.
–The U.S. Supreme Court just left in place New York’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for health care workers that allows for no religious exemptions.
–The Air Force has kicked out 27 airmen for refusing the COVID-19 vaccines.
–More than 14,000 army personnel remain unvaccinated, joining another approximately 25,000 in the active duty Navy, Air Force and Marines who have also challenged the Biden administration’s directive.
–U.S. military leadership is mulling whether to require COVID booster shots for troops.
–Due to concerns about blood clots, an advisory panel to the CDC unanimously voted to recommend 2-dose Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines over the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
–Dr. Robert Malone, the inventor of mRNA vaccine technology, has issued a video statement explaining why more than 15,000 physicians and medical scientists around the world have signed a declaration saying that healthy children should not be vaccinated for COVID-19.
–A Columbia University study claims that the true U.S. COVID vaccine death count is 400,000.
–Walgreens has been having a difficult time of public relations as flu shots get mixed up with COVID shots. One example involves a family from Evansville, Indiana, who said they were given adult doses of the Pfizer COVID vaccine instead of the flu shot on October 4th. This includes both children, ages 4 and 5. Both are exhibiting symptoms of heart problems.
–Philadelphia has announced that all facilities that sell food or drinks soon will have to require proof of vaccination for customers to partake of their offerings.
–County officials in New York, statewide, opposed to the governors mask mandate are calling it silly, misguided and unenforceable with a quarter of counties refusing to become mask police.
–Kroger stores announced Tuesday they will eliminate paid emergency leave for unvaccinated employees who contract COVID-19, in addition to requiring some of them to pay a monthly $50 health insurance surcharge starting in 2022 according to a company memo.
–A 56 year old man died last month after California paramedics allegedly refused to enter a care facility to assist him while he was not breathing.
–Members of Congress blasting Washington, D.C., not only for the deplorable conditions of the jail for the January 6th protesters, but now it’s also been reported that they must receive COVID-19 shots before they can speak with their attorneys.
–Vice President Kamala Harris said women will die if the Supreme Court of the U.S. overturns Roe v. Wade.
