–After saying in December of last year that masks and vaccines should not be made mandatory, President Biden has reversed course and has now unveiled several new executive orders and other directives aimed at increasing the share of the workforce that is vaccinated at businesses across America.
–The CDC has changed their definition of “vaccine” over time. It originally meant prevention of a disease, then became about producing immunity to a specific disease and is now being defined as the act of that which produces protection from a specific disease.
–President Biden said if governors won’t help beat the pandemic, he’ll use his power as president to get them out of the way.
–Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel says the federal government cannot mandate COVID-19 vaccines under authorization of emergency use. He contends there is no FDA approved COVID-19 vaccine available in the U.S. He also notes the vaccines cannot be mandatory under Title VII.
–A Las Vegas mother became infuriated after discovering that a substitute teacher from her son’s 4th grade class taped the child’s mask to his face in front of the class.
–Professor Vinay Prasad, who teaches epidemiology, says the cost of masking children outweighs any benefits.
–The Department of Homeland Security says they will increase the range of civil penalties that may be imposed upon individuals violating the federal mask mandate at airports, on commercial aircraft and in various modes of surface transportation.
–The Republican National Committee is planning to sue President Biden over his vaccine mandate.
–Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson said the Biden administration’s decision to mandate vaccines for working Americans, without recognizing natural immunity and making exceptions for it, is an outrageous trampling of civil liberties.
–Firefighters and police officers in Los Angeles are positioning themselves on the front lines in the battle against coercive COVID-19 vaccine mandates, joining together to demand freedom from forced inoculation in a monumental fight to preserve our liberties.
–United Airlines employees, who are granted a medical and religious exemption, have been informed that they will be automatically placed on unpaid leave.
–Arizona tells the city of Tuscon to end the vaccine mandate or lose millions in funding.
–A Rutgers University student is locked out from virtual classes because he’s not vaccinated.
–A 6 week old breastfeeding baby became ill with a high fever after his mother received a COVID-19 vaccine and he died weeks later with blood clots and severely inflamed arteries.
–A new COVID-19 variant has now been found in 49 states that’s even more transmissible than the Delta variant.
