- In an Appropriations Committee hearing, House Democrats characterized the Hyde Amendment, which prohibits the federal government from funding abortions, as racist and discriminatory.
- Joe Biden says he will name a radical abortion activist, Xavier Becerra, as
his Health and Human Services secretary.
