Jim began with a review of the tragic news from Saturday as he described details surrounding the shooting at a Jewish synagogue in San Diego by a 19 year old.
Part of this segment involved audio from a Sunday afternoon news conference where Rabbi Yisroel Goldstein expressed appreciation for President Trump who provided words of comfort and consolation following the shooting.
Jim also noted that Major General Hossein Salami, the new head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (which the U.S. has designated as a terrorist organization), lead a missile program that he said is capable of annihilating Israel.
The remainder of the program was set aside for listeners to take a minute, get on their ‘soap box’, and address issues of importance.
