–A call to prayer for those in the path of hurricane ‘Harvey’ came from Dr. E.

storm is likely to be life-threatening and to cause severe damage to property
throughout Eastern Texas and into Louisiana.
–President Trump has been advised regarding hurricane ‘Harvey’. Advisors are
reassuring Americans that the administration is prepared.
–President Trump instructing the Pentagon to stop admitting transgender
individuals into the military.
–The Washington Free Beacon has reported that the average transgender soldier
will spend 238 days (65% of one year) recovering from sex change surgeries,
making them unavailable to deploy.
–President Trump signs historic bill for veterans. It’s called the Veterans
Appeals Improvement and Modernization Act.
–The pace of new government regulations has plunged under President Trump.
–Trump’s administration officials have just disbanded a major climate change
advisory board.
–Americans for Limited Government praises the Trump administration and Attorney
General Jeff Sessions for putting an end to ‘Operation Choke Point’. That’s an
Obama administration initiative to choke off politically disfavored industries
like firearm manufacturers and pay-day lenders.
–The chief executive of a Pennsylvania-based coal corporation said that the
company is opening a second coal mine since President Trump took office and
declares that the war on coal is over.
–Korean electronics manufacturer LG announced plans to build a new electric car
parts plant in Michigan.
–Consumer confidence advanced last week to a new 16 year high.
–A Washington Times editorial on the border wall indicates that radical
environmental groups have joined efforts to stop the project due to the alleged
impact it will have on ocelots and butterflies.
–America will not abandon Afghanistan to ISIS according to President Trump.
–Arizona Senator John McCain commends the president for his strategy on
Afghanistan.
–The Atlantic and the New York Post in favor of President Trump’s Afghanistan
plans.
–Maria Chappelle-Nadal, a Missouri senator who had hoped for the president’s
assassination, has been removed from her committee assignments.
–Fox News reports that calls are coming out for Chappell-Nadal to be
expelled from her position.
–A group of Anti-Trump demonstrators used gas canisters, rocks and bottles to
assault police Tuesday evening and create havoc at what had been a mostly
peaceful protest in Phoenix.
–The ‘left’ has upped the stakes in its guerilla operations against Republicans,
as deep-pocketed groups fund protestors to show up at the offices and even the
homes of congressman to protest their lack of town-hall meetings.
–A chief of staff for Democratic Representative Yvette Clarke quietly agreed
early last year to sign away a $120,000 missing electronics problem on behalf of
two former I.T. aides that are now suspected of stealing equipment from
Congress.
