Guest: Alex Newman
Jim began this edition of Crosstalk with news from the Family Research Council. Tomorrow (Wednesday July 13th), the U.S. House of Representatives will be voting on the Conscience Protection Act. This act would stop government discrimination against pro-life individuals who object to being forced to participate in abortion. It’s known as H.R. 4828/S. 2927. You can contact your legislators regarding this issue at 202-225-3121.
Alex Newman is an international freelance journalist, educator and consultant. He has a degree in journalism from the University of Florida and has worked for numerous publications. He’s the co-author of the book ‘Crimes of the Educators’. It’s subtitle is, ‘How Utopians Are Using Government Schools to Destroy America’s Children’. As a freelance journalist he writes for The New American.
Alex described how the Human Rights Council of the United Nations, by a rather narrow margin, passed a resolution that creates a position for an LGBT czar. This individual will be in charge of monitoring human rights situations as they relate to the LGBT community. Alex believes it will ‘bully’ governments into adopting the LGBT agenda.
Alex indicated that the U.N. wants to introduce the LGBT agenda in schools around the world because he believes LGBT proponents have given up on the older generation. So the first target will be schools around the world through items like the World Core Curriculum.
Proponents of this effort are claiming that international law mandates not just the legalization of homosexuality/homosexual marriage but also acceptance and promotion by everyone. If you speak out against it, you are then an international criminal guilty of committing crimes against humanity.
According to Alex, this has nothing to do with equality. This is an attempt to silence the truth and overturn reality and God’s design by using the coercive apparatus of government at the regional, national and international levels to pursue the LGBT agenda.
This program also discussed the American Sovereignty Restoration Act (HR-1205). This was first introduced in 1997. Very simply, it would do what the name indicates. It would restore American sovereignty by getting the U.S. out of the U.N., it would kick the U.N. off of U.S. soil and it would end all taxpayer funding for the U.N.
