Bodie Hodge is a speaker, writer and researcher for Answers in Genesis. He oversees their correspondence department and is a regular speaker in the Creation Museum Speaker Series. Bodie joined Jim to discuss the latest book in the ‘Answer’ series: “The New Answers Book 4: Over 30 Questions on Creation/Evolution and the Bible”.
Why are books like those in the ‘Answers’ series so critical? As Bodie noted, these books set out to answer the tough questions in the creation/evolution/biblical authority debate. This allows the layman to understand the answers and use them to witness to others.
Overall, what are the top questions asked by the ‘Answers’ ministry? Where did Cain get his wife is #1. Dinosaurs and the age of the earth are two other ‘most asked’ about topics.
The first chapter deals with atheistic devices. This chapter asserts that there are atheists that are using churches to infiltrate and deceive. This is being done through efforts like Evolution Sunday or even bringing in individuals who are not professing Christians to teach at churches.
As the conversation moves along, Bodie tackles the following:
–Should there be a battle between science and the Bible?
–Is evolutionary humanism the most blood-stained religion ever?
–Is the pre-flood canopy model really viable?
