Host: Jim Schneider
Guest: Pastor Jack Franklin
Jack Franklin is a former pastor that listeners may remember from his testimony on Crosstalk during a program called, ‘The Loser’. (See Crosstalk-8/11/2011). On that program he communicated how he turned to food and eventually to drugs. He had a brush with death but found forgiveness, new life and hope in Jesus Christ.
According to Jack the age of accountability differs with each child. Tying together verses such as Ephesians 1:1 and 6:1, Colossians 1:2 and 3:20 along with Matthew 18:1-6, Jack explained why there is a Scriptural basis for evangelizing children.
Why is this important? Find out as you hear Jack recall the lives of certain children who went on to become giants of the faith including:
–A young Union Army hero in the Civil War.
–A girl who died at age 8 but not before saving her allowance to buy pocket-size
Bibles and leading many friends to the Lord.
–How a little girl led her father to the Lord just before his death in a Berlin
bombing raid.
–The girl who gave her father a tract before he died in a coal mining
accident; an act that led to his salvation.
–A story of a grandfather who’s example caused a little girl to go on to become
an important witness to lepers in India.
