Daniel Weber is the founder and president of the Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC)
This morning the U.S. Supreme Court held its second day of testimony concerning the Patient Protection and Affordable Health Care Act otherwise known as “Obamacare”. Today’s testimony was to focus on whether the individual mandate that would force individuals to purchase health insurance or face fines, is constitutional.
There are many points that Daniel covers in order to bring listeners up to date concerning Obamacare. Here are several:
–The independent payment advisory board that will issue rules to determine
which medical procedures you can or can’t have.
–Why Obamacare, if it passes, may collapse under its own weight.
–The Medicaid component and why Obamacare actually hurts it.
–Justice Elena Kagan and the fact that she hasn’t recused herself.
–Accessibility to your checking account.
–16,000 more I.R.S. representatives to make sure employers are following
the plan.
These discussion points, along with questions and comments from listeners, made for a very timely and informative edition of Crosstalk.
