Our nation is in turmoil like never before. This situation is being amplified by those who seek to implement change through the fueling of the human penchant toward envy and entitlement. This edition of Crosstalk looks at two examples of this process, one past and one present, that may give an indication where our nation is headed.
Tomorrow the Milwaukee Public Schools will be meeting to discuss a student bill of rights, a bill that has already been formulated by Y.E.S. (Youth Empowered in the Struggle).
From decision making power to the desire for an affordable and dignified lunch along with transportation and language demands, this document appears to share the same attitude of entitlement that the nation saw during the Madison, Wisconsin, union protests and the nation’s “occupy” protests.
Vic also plays a recording of an interview featuring retired postman Allen Hulton who delivered mail in the late 80’s and early ‘90’s to Tom and Mary Ayers, the parents of former Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers. He has some surprising things to say about the young man he believes is now our current president, Barack Obama.
