Twila Brase is the President of Citizens’ Council for Health Freedom, a non-profit group located in Minnesota. Their mission is to support patient and doctor freedom, medical innovation and health freedom for all rather than a government takeover of the health care system.
This program focuses primarily on president Obama’s contraception mandate which insists that all employers provide insurance coverage that includes contraceptive services. There is a narrow range of religious employers that would be exempt in the sense that they don’t have to pay for such contraceptives, but if an employee in one of these organizations wants contraception, the organization would still be required to facilitate access to such products for that employee.
