David Rubin is the former mayor of Shiloh, Israel, and the Founder of Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund. He is also the author of the book, Islamic Tsunami: Israel and America in the Age of Obama.
Recent uprisings in the Middle East have been labeled the “Arab Spring”. This program looks at the aftermath and where these nations plan to go from here. Is there a future plan for democracy in these nations that respects what some would consider universal human rights or are these uprisings about implementing the intolerance of Islamic Shariah law?
Should the latter take place, we’ll need to see who controls the resulting Islamic tsunami. Will it be the Sunnis who are mainly the Muslim Brotherhood and Saudi Arabia or the Shiites of Iran and Lebanon?
David also comments on the pending vote in the United Nations involving the formation of a Palestinian state, a Nashville conference on Islam that was cancelled due to pressure that came against the hotel that was to host the event and much more.
