Senate majority leader Harry Reid has filed cloture on the nomination of
radical University of California law professor Goodwin Liu to the 9th Circuit
Court of Appeals. This sets up a potential “showdown” vote on Thursday.
Goodwin Liu believes:
…in the use of foreign law in U.S. courts.
…in the rejection of the plain text of the Constitution.
…we need to read a constitutional right to homosexual marriage into the
U.S. Constitution.
…cultural trends drive our constitutional rights.
…in a constitutional right to welfare.
Other points brought up for discussion include:
–Who’s “in” and who’s “out” in terms of the presidential race.
–Fort Knox gold holdings to be sold in light of our national debt?
–Newt Gingrich apologizes to Paul Ryan…admits his personal
faults…proposes new spending ideas.
Callers also presented their opinions concerning the current crop of
presidential candidates.
