I’m Bub Kuns, and today we’re talking about environmentalism.
Is the human race on the verge of extinction?
Well, radical environmentalists would love for us to believe that. But the fact is that predictions going back to the 1970s of global catastrophe resulting from human industrialization have NEVER materialized. And despite such predictions being wrong and the data on climate change being inconclusive at best, left-leaning politicians have doubled down on their environmental agenda.
But it’s not science that’s driving them – it’s something else entirely.
As author Michael Hanlon said, “Global warming, indeed much of environmentalism, has become a new religion. Like the old religions, environmentalism preaches much good sense is well-meaning, but has a worrying lack of logic at its core.”
Although as believers we are called to be good stewards of the earth, we should reject radical environmentalism’s “worship” of nature.
