I’m Bub Kuns, and today we’re talking about same-sex “marriage.”
Just a generation ago it was unthinkable to define marriage as anything but the lifetime commitment of a man and a woman that typically led to childbearing, reflecting both God’s definition for marriage in Genesis 2 and biological reality. Today, with the push to recognize same-sex “marriage,” the definition of matrimony has been twisted and distorted almost beyond recognition.
But as author Ryan Anderson said, “Marriage exists to bring a man and a woman together as husband and wife to be father and mother to any children their union produces. It is based on the anthropological truth that men and women are different and complementary, the biological fact that reproduction depends on a man and a woman, and the social reality that each child needs both a mother and a father.”
It was God who invented marriage, and marriage His way is the only marriage there is.
