I’m Bub Kuns, and today we’re talking about homosexuality.
Although Scripture teaches that homosexual behavior is sinful, there are many who think that societal acceptance of it means it’s now okay, and that there are no longer consequences for living outside God’s boundaries for sexual behavior. Well, nothing could be further from the truth!
In fact, according to Andre Van Mol of the Christian Medical and Dental Associations, there is, “… a substantial body of scientific literature repeatedly confirming that same-sex sexual behavior carries with it increased rates of HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, alcohol abuse, tobacco use, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, suicidality, obesity, hepatitis of various forms, numerous sexually transmitted infections, various cancers, and domestic violence, with substantially shorter life expectancy.”
Anytime we go against God’s loving commands and good design for our lives, we’re asking for trouble.
Now, what about same-sex “marriage?” We’ll discuss that another time.
