In today’s culture, reality shows like “Love without Limits” have popularized the concept of “polyamory” — having openly romantic relationships with multiple people simultaneously. Like polygamy, “polyamory” goes against God’s design for one man and one woman in a sacred, exclusive union. But, UNLIKE polygamy, polyamory includes no marriage commitment at all!
Doctors Joe McIlhaney, Jr, and Freda M. Bush say, “The individual who goes from sex partner to sex partner is causing his or her brain to mold…so that it eventually begins accepting that sexual pattern as normal. For most people this brain pattern seems to interfere with the development of the neurological circuits necessary for the long-term relationship that for most people results in stable marriages and family development.”
The strongest relationship bonds are formed within the moral boundaries God has set.
