Charles Darwin (Part 5)

Welcome to Apologetics with Carl Kerby!

Michael Behe, the founder of the “irreducible complexity” argument says this: “Well, if you think of it, you can ask yourself the question, ‘How do we know that another intelligence exists and has acted?’  The key is to ask yourselves, ‘Do I see a purposeful arrangement of things in nature too?’ And if you do, then there’s no reason to withhold the conclusion that we find everywhere else, that in fact, that arrangement is the product of a mind.”

And an intelligent mind at that!

If you ask me, Behe’s quote is very reminiscent of Job 12: 7-10: “ But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.”
