Welcome to Apologetics with Carl Kerby!
Today, we’re talking about life issues, specifically about the issue of abortion.
Do fireworks go off in celebration of God’s creating life in the womb? The answer might surprise you.
According to scientific research by Northwestern University Medicine, “A stunning explosion of zinc fireworks occurs when a human egg is activated by a sperm enzyme, and the size of these ‘sparks’ is a direct measure of the quality of the egg and its ability to develop into an embryo.”
In other words, there is literally an explosion of light inside the womb at the moment of conception, signifying a life has begun. Each life is created by the Lord, has a designated starting point, and is a life worth celebrating.
As Job 33 says, “The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.”
And what are other life issues? We’ll discuss them another time.
