Today, we’re talking about the enemy’s strategies.
PETA is a leftist animal rights organization determined to ban all human use of animals. Although Christians should never mistreat animals, believers should also recognize the distinction God puts between humans — who are made in His image — and His other creation. PETA, on the other hand, views humans as advanced animals with no more worth or dignity than a rabbit or mouse.
Oddly enough, even though PETA would ban all killing of animals, PETA’s website states the organization is neutral on abortion — the killing of unborn CHILDREN — stating, “PETA does not have a position on the abortion issue, because our focus as an organization is the alleviation of the suffering inflicted on nonhuman animals.” In other words, PETA values animal life OVER human life!
But Psalm 8 teaches God made man unique, giving him dominion over creation — including the animal kingdom.
