Today, we’re talking about the enemy’s strategies.
There was a time in America when public education included Bible reading and prayer. Those days are long gone. Today, a liberal pluralism permeates secular schools. Pluralism is the philosophy that there are many ideas about religion and morals, and all of them MUST be viewed as equal. In other words, no religion is truer than another — so none of them can really be true at all!
Ultimately, pluralism denies Christ’s claim that He is the only way to God. And the immediate danger is that children are being taught that since all beliefs are equal, there is no one truth that can be claimed. And if children grow up thinking no one religion is right, then they have no reason to turn to Christ for salvation.
But as Christ said in John 17, “[God’s] word is truth.”
