Welcome to Apologetics with Carl Kerby!
If Charles Darwin were to meet Moses, do you think that he could convince Moses that God does not exist? Um … NO!
Moses had direct KNOWLEDGE that God exists. He saw manna fall from the sky, seas split, and a staff turned into a snake. Every one of these events shrunk the amount of blind FAITH needed for him to believe that God exists.
Faith is like a ravine where we trust that the Christian worldview is true. But knowledge can bridge that faith gap where we can know like Moses did.
Every time we learn something that points to the fact of an Intelligent Designer, or the accuracy and reliability of the Bible, and the fact that the Resurrection is a historically validated event, the amount of faith we need is diminished. Knowledge becomes a bridge over the ravine, requiring less faith to believe!
Join me next time as we tackle some tough questions that deserve good answers.
