Today, we’re talking about the enemy’s strategies and how to respond to them.
One way Satan infiltrates people’s minds is through entertainment – specifically movies and TV.
According to a study by the Kaiser Family Foundation, 70% of television shows included some type of sexual content – AVERAGING FIVE SEXUAL SCENES AN HOUR!
Think that doesn’t affect teens? Well, think again!
The organization also found that 76% of teenagers surveyed think that such sexual scenes are a reason youth are so sexually active.
You see, the truth is that viewing sensual material can desensitize viewers to sin as well as tempt them to become involved in it. Ultimately, such entertainment sows doubt about the biblical teaching that sex is reserved for a husband and wife in marriage.
It’s important to follow the pledge of the psalmist in Psalm 101:3 – “I will set no wicked thing before my eye.”
