Today, we’re talking about the case for the God of the Bible.
Not too many years ago, university “ethicists” Alberto Giubilini and Francesca Minerva published an article in an academic journal encouraging acceptance of infanticide – also known as murdering unwanted infants for any reason – simply calling it “after-birth abortion.”
If these so-called ethicists sound like a throwback to the ancient pagan days of CHILD SACRIFICE to you, you’re not alone. The only difference between child sacrifice and what Giubilini and Minerva are advocating today is that today’s children are being offered on an altar of personal selfishness instead of stone.
Whether in ancient paganism or postmodern philosophy, the fact is that non-Christian cultures DEVALUE LIFE! In contrast, Scripture tells us God created us all in His image with a mind, will, and emotions. As God’s “image-bearers,” we have innate worth, and GOD VALUES US!
