We need to ask the Maker of moral law why HE says homosexuality is wrong instead of trusting our own personal feelings on complicated matters like this.
The first few pages of the Bible express God’s ultimate purpose for a proper family order. The love between a husband and wife provides a glimpse of Christ’s passionate devotion to us as His bride, and parenthood offers a picture of God’s tenderness and patience toward us as His children. Husbands and wives are gifted in opposite ways that work together beautifully when done by God’s design.
Understanding how the LGBTQ movement is a blow to the foundation of God’s design for the family helps us put perspective on why God says it’s wrong instead of allowing our emotions to dictate that.
Then, we can lovingly have this conversation without embracing or condoning things that go against the will of God.
