All people recognize that there are some things that are either right or wrong. When people claim something to be right or wrong, they appeal to a higher law to justify their position. However, a significant truth emerges when this argument is followed through to the end.
In order to have a higher law in place, there has to be an Ultimate Law Giver who sets the moral standards. If there were no Law Giver, there would be no such thing as morality.
Therefore, the existence of objective morality demands the need for the One who made everything to also set the moral laws in which we live.
The Bible says that God’s moral laws are written on people’s hearts and that their conscience also bears witness to them.
You cannot sustain a reasonable belief in morality without the belief in the God who imposes it!
