Welcome to Apologetics with Carl Kerby!
Last time we talked about cell formation … but let’s take it a step further.
Scientists have actually uncovered how the process of cell reproduction occurs. Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) is the information hub at the center of the cell.
Cell reproduction begins when DNA splits in two, forming a copy of the RNA that travels to a molecular machine known as a Ribosome.
Inside the Ribosome, RNA is formed into amino acids, then those turn into proteins which form into a new DNA strand.
You can’t have RNA to create new cells without fully functioning DNA molecules to create from.
Again, you have to have life to create life.
The Bible tells us that God “knitted us together in the secret place of our mother’s womb.” Interestingly, the double-helix shape of DNA looks like it has been knitted together.
Another truth lies in the universe itself, but that’s more for next time.
