Today, we’re talking about worldviews. Remember that a worldview is the lens by which we look at all of life. Having a biblical worldview means we look at life through the lens of biblical truth so we can see things from the correct perspective … God’s perspective.
The only bad thing about a biblical worldview is that not many Christians seem to have one! That’s dangerous! As the old saying goes, those who stand for nothing will fall for anything! Colossians 2:8 tells us, “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” In other words, not having a biblical worldview makes us a target for the huge number of false worldviews floating around today. It compromises our witness for Christ, as well.
In his book A Mind for God, James Emery White said:
Apart from a Christian mind we will either be taken captive by the myriad of worldviews contending for our attention, or we will fail to make the Christian voice heard and considered above the din.
RIGHT ON!
And when your worldview changes, your life changes … but we’ll discuss that another time. Until then, find more apologetic resources at debunked.org. Stay bold!
