CREATION: Complexity

Today, we’re talking about the apologetic argument from creation. You know, when DNA was first discovered, scientists believed it was simple and could not possibly contain enough information to replicate life. But in 1953, researchers Watson and Crick discovered the “double helix” structure of DNA, revealing its enormous complexity. Later, scientists discovered that the more than 10 million cells in one human body contain the equivalent of 60 TRILLION FEET of genetic information! This “blueprint” for the body is responsible for everything from eye color to athletic ability.

Yeah … not so simple.

In fact, computer guru Bill Gates once said:

DNA is like a software program, only much more complex than anything we’ve ever devised.

Right! And software programs have a what … a CREATOR! Psalm 139 reminds us that God “formed my inward parts” and “knit me together in my mother’s womb.”

There’s more apologetic evidence from complexity that we’ll address another time. Until then, find more apologetic resources at debunked.org. Stay bold!
