Today, we’re talking about the apologetic argument from creation.
Charles Darwin staked his theory of evolution on his hope that scientists would unearth an abundance of transitional forms in the fossil record. This search began during Darwin’s lifetime, and what he found after lots of people digging was that these missing links were … MISSING! What the Cambrian layer of fossils DID show was fully-formed creatures with NO TRANSITIONAL FORMS in the Precambrian layer underneath.
So, how did Darwin respond when the search for transitional forms came up empty?
To the question why we do not find rich fossiliferous deposits belonging to these assumed earliest periods prior to the Cambrian system, I can give no satisfactory answer.
Darwin didn’t have an answer, but the Bible does! Genesis 1 tells us clearly that God made all creatures, and He made them FULLY FORMED!
