Today, we’re talking about the apologetic argument from creation, specifically the Cambrian Explosion. Remember that the Cambrian Explosion refers to the layer of rock that shows massive amounts of diverse, fully-formed fossils with no transitional forms in the rock layer just beneath. These creatures appear suddenly, just like the biblical account.
In a stunning admission, Charles Darwin stated:
If it could be demonstrated that any complex organ existed, which could not possibly have been formed by numerous, successive, slight modifications, my theory would absolutely break down.
In other words, Darwin is saying that if there were fully-formed organisms without any transitional forms to precede them (WHICH IS TRUE) then the theory of evolution completely falls apart (WHICH IT DOES)! It makes more sense to believe that “all things were created by Him, and for Him,” as Colossians 1:16 says.
