We’re addressing the claim that evolution proves there’s no God.” Remember, we first asked, “What do you mean by evolution?” Some say, with modification, that this means genetic information was added through mutation.
In Genesis 1, we read 10X that God created “after their kind.” This means that dogs have always been dogs. Now, God created life with the ability to adapt to a fallen world so the tiny changes we see within a kind isn’t a problem! It’s called speciation.
But can’t speciation eventually change a scale into a feather? Dr. Lee Spetner, who’s not a Christian, made the following statement:
“Not even one mutation has been observed that adds a little information to the genome.”
He also states that mutations reduce genetic information in the specie … they don’t increase it. Mutations won’t turn a fish into an amphibian!
Which means, Christian, evolution does NOT disprove God!
