What’s the god of this age? Well, for the younger generations, it’s identity. They worship self and their subjective feelings about self. And it’s led to much confusion. But there’s clarity in God’s Word!
You see, God created us, so he defines us. We aren’t self-made people, forced to create our own identity.
We’ve been defined as an image bearer of God, so each life has value and dignity. And God has created us either male or female with unique roles as together men and women obey God’s command to have dominion over creation.
Identity shouldn’t control us as our god because the true God has already given us our identity!
