This is Ken Ham, author of the eye-opening book Divided Nation: Cultures in Chaos and a Conflicted Church.

Many Christians believe in evolution and just add God in. But this view misrepresents who God is.

Scripture describes God as the all-powerful Creator who made everything just by speaking. But evolution turns God into a god-of-the-gaps. He’s just tacked on to a naturalistic process.

This also misrepresents God’s character. Scripture says that God is perfect, loving, and all-powerful. But evolution is a wasteful process of death and more death! Why would a loving Creator use death to create life and then call it “very good”?

God did not use evolution to create. To say he did is a misrepresentation of our Creator.
