One of my favorite sayings is, “If there really was a worldwide flood, what would you expect to see? Billions of dead things, buried in rock layers, laid down by water, all over the earth. And that’s exactly what we find!”
You see, the flood would’ve ripped up miles of sediment and redeposited it in layers. This would’ve trapped and rapidly buried organisms, which became fossils. This explains why we find fossil graveyards and rapidly buried creatures.
